Kayswee 2 Sweet was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, California, and began making music alongside her brother. As kids, they played around with music and created a duo called 1G1B, which stands for “One Girl One Boy.”

From a young age, she was always interested in music and entertainment but was focusing primarily on basketball. Her brother had always been the one to take it more seriously and after doing a song with him she was interested in pursuing music as a career.

Lyrically, Kayswee draws her inspiration from her own experiences and her passion to work hard to get to the top. Being from L.A. there’s often a shared mentality to find a way into the entertainment industry and Kay possesses that goal.

When her passion for music grew to be serious she dropped out of college and found a way to make ends meet until her tracks started to pick up. She’s still grinding and knows there’s always room for improvement. She’s heard from a variety of figures that she’s got what it takes to make it as an entertainer and to keep pushing, which is exactly what she does, knowing never to give up.

Kayswee has a very diverse array of content on her plate. She makes music for those in the LGBTQ+ community and for anybody aspiring to make it out of difficult situations the way she has. Her lyrics always have substance, whether it’s an emotional track or something fun to catch a vibe to. Kayswee isn’t afraid to touch on topics that most people will shy away from the public eye. She prefers to write her lyrics on a notepad in order to see her thoughts. She is still capable of freestyling and touching up her tracks to be as fun and animated as possible.

Most recently, Kayswee has released “Ratchet Mood” on all platforms and the video is gaining significant numbers on YouTube. Up next, she is working on a mixtape entitled “Vibe Before Fame,” and within that tape will be her single “Fried Chicken,” which she has been working on with Authentic Empire Music Group. She has been collaborating with her brother who has produced the upcoming tape “Escape Plan.”

Outside of music, Kay is a college graduate and working towards making a name in film and doing more music video production. She is a very vivacious and outgoing personality looking to inspire, motivate, and educate her fan base.
